W Brisbane located at 81 N Quay, Brisbane City QLD 4000 is hiring a Part Time and Full Time Commis Chefs. As a Commis Chef in a luxury hotel, you will have the opportunity to uphold the exceptional culinary standards expected in a premium hospitality setting.
Responsibilities include:
+ Prepare ingredients such as cooking, portioning, chopping and storing food
+ Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards and food preparation checklists
+ Support chefs by ensuring all ingredients are prepared and available
+ Ensure the work station is organized, restocked and adhering to hygiene and safety standards

About the Role:

Stamford Plaza Brisbane is currently seeking passionate and hardworking Commis Chefs to join our talented Kitchen Brigade on a full-time and casual basis.

If you have respect for the industry, professional 5-star standards, a great work ethic and know what it takes to succeed, we could be a great match.

Duties and Responsibilities :

- Responsibilities will include preparing ingredients, adhering to the restaurant menu, and following food health and safety procedures.
- Cook, clean, assist other cooks and staff and deliver food in a fast-paced environment.
- Work may include operating a grill, oven, or fryer.

Requirements for the role:

- Minimum two years of experience in a similar capacity
- Degree from internationally recognised culinary institution preferred
- Working knowledge of safe kitchen practices
- Knowledge in Food & Beverage & Kitchen regulations
