About the Role
As a Centre Director at The Grove Academy, you’ll lead with heart, overseeing the daily operations of the centre while fostering a positive and collaborative environment. You’ll champion The Grove Academy’s values and be the key figure in building strong relationships with children, families, and the team.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing daily operations and ensuring compliance with all regulations

Leading and mentoring a passionate team of educators

Building strong connections with families and the community

Driving excellence in educational practices and the overall centre experience

Creating a positive, inspiring, and dynamic environment for all

Ensuring the safety, health and wellbeing of all children is prioritised at all times

Actively supervising children and maintaining awareness of risks in the environment

Reporting any concerns or incidents in line with service policies and procedures

Skills & Experience
We’re looking for an experienced and passionate leader to take on this vital role. To succeed, you’ll need:

Experience in managing an early childhood education and care centre

Strong leadership and people management skills

A deep understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and regulatory requirements

Exceptional communication and organisational abilities

A passion for making a lasting impact on children’s lives

Strong understanding of child protection responsibilities and mandatory reporting

Ability to identify and respond to risks to children’s safety

Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries at all times

Successful applicants will be required to hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and complete mandatory child safety training.
