The Lower Limb Clinic Pty Ltd – Elsternwick VIC

Podiatrist

Elsternwick | Around $130K + Super | Established Caseload | Available Now

Ready for more independence?

If you're a couple of years into your podiatry career, enjoy MSK and biomechanics, and are ready for a role with greater clinical independence, we'd like to meet you.

We're looking for a confident podiatrist to join our team and step straight into an existing caseload .

The patients are already here.

There's a busy diary and an established flow of current patients. You won't be expected to build a caseload or bring patients with you.

You can concentrate on being a podiatrist from day one.

Independence, with backup

This is a role for someone who's ready to work with genuine clinical independence.

You'll be the podiatrist on site, managing your own caseload, making clinical decisions and taking real ownership of your working day.

You'll have an experienced administrative team supporting you day-to-day, together with ongoing access to senior clinical mentoring and decades of MSK, biomechanical and orthotic experience when you want to discuss a case, test your thinking or get another perspective.

That senior clinical support is largely provided remotely, so you'll need to be comfortable practising independently.

the freedom to practise with genuine autonomy, while knowing experienced clinical backup is still there when you need it.

The clinical work

Around 54% of our caseload is MSK , with a significant focus on biomechanics and orthotic therapy.

You’ll also see some general and procedural podiatry,

but we don't have a high-risk or wound-care caseload.

And we like orthotics.

Not orthotics for everyone. Good orthotic therapy based on a sound diagnosis, thoughtful prescription and a clear understanding of what you're trying to achieve.

We've been working in biomechanics and orthotic therapy for decades. You'll have access to computerised gait and pressure analysis, 3D scanning, shockwave therapy and our own on-site CAD/CAM orthotic laboratory.

Our custom orthoses are manufactured from start to finish in-house. That gives you the opportunity to understand the whole process, from assessment and prescription through to the finished device and subsequent adjustment.

The technology doesn't replace clinical judgement. It gives you better information to work with and, combined with experienced clinical support, can help you develop your assessment, prescription and decision-making quickly.

You’ll also have full administrative support and AI-assisted clinical note-taking, leaving more of your working day for clinical practice.

About you

Ideally, you’ll have at least 1–2 years of clinical experience and be comfortable managing patients independently.

You’ll probably enjoy this role if you:

- have a genuine interest in MSK podiatry and biomechanics
- enjoy working out why a patient has a problem rather than simply treating where it hurts
- want greater clinical independence
- value having experienced clinical backup when you want another perspective
- are clinically curious and keen to keep developing
- are kind, dependable and someone people enjoy working with.

You don't need to know everything.

We're looking for someone with good clinical foundations, sound judgement and the desire to keep getting better.

The practical bits

Around $130,000 + super for the right full-time candidate , depending on experience and working arrangements.

Full-time is preferred, although we'd happily consider a substantial part-time arrangement for the right person.

The position is available now.

There's an established caseload ready for you, and we're in a position to move quickly when we meet the right candidate.

We also understand that good people often have existing commitments. If you need a short transition period, or would prefer to begin part-time before increasing your days, we're happy to discuss it.

Applications will be reviewed as they arrive, and interviews can commence immediately.

If you've been thinking that your next podiatry role should offer more independence, interesting clinical work and the opportunity to develop real expertise in MSK, biomechanics and orthotic therapy, perhaps it's time we had a conversation.
