HONE is a Melbourne-based, family-owned construction company specialising in architectural Passive House homes. We build a small number of projects each year, allowing us to maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail.

Our projects are design-led and technically rigorous, requiring careful planning, precision and consistently high-quality execution.
The Role
You’ll play a key role on-site delivering high-quality architectural homes, working closely with our site teams to ensure every detail is executed to a high standard.
This is not a “just get it done” environment, we expect you to think, plan, and take ownership of your work.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver high-quality carpentry on-site
- Read and interpret detailed architectural drawings
- Coordinate tasks and sequencing with the site team
- Maintain strict quality control across all work
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards
- Mentor and guide apprentices where required
- Identify issues early and drive practical solutions
- Maintain clean, organised and efficient sites
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified carpenter with 3+ years post-apprenticeship experience
- Solid experience in architectural residential construction
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Reliable, professional and team-oriented
- White Card, driver’s licence, own tools and vehicle
Nice to have:
- Experience with high-performance / Passive House construction
- First Aid certification
