Proactive Global is expanding our Melbourne team and we're looking for an ambitious Recruitment Consultant/ leader to help grow our Engineering & Software Integration recruitment division.

You'll have the freedom to develop your own specialist desk, backed by an established global client network, experienced leadership and dedicated Talent Attraction support.

The Opportunity:

You'll take ownership of growing our specialist Engineering & Software Integration recruitment offering , supporting clients within our established Automation, Robotics, Manufacturing and Advanced Technology markets.

Working across permanent and fixed-term contract placements, you'll have the opportunity to develop your own technical recruitment desk while leveraging our global client relationships, established market presence and dedicated Talent Attraction support.

Your recruitment focus will include roles like:

Software & Systems Integration Engineers

Technical Engineering Consultants and Specialists

What you'll be doing:

Proactively identifying and winning new business through direct outreach, networking and relationship building.

Managing end-to-end recruitment assignments and building long-term client partnerships.

Developing your specialist market knowledge, candidate network and personal brand.

Collaborating with experienced leadership and our dedicated Talent Attraction team.

About You:

We're interested in speaking with individuals who bring:





Experience in 360 agency recruitment and/or a solid B2B business development background.

A genuine appetite for outbound sales, prospecting and winning new clients.

Experience recruiting across permanent and/or temporary placements.

Strong communication, relationship-building and commercial skills.

A proactive, resilient and self-motivated approach.

Engineering or technical recruitment experience is highly regarded, but we're equally interested in commercially sharp recruiters who are excited to specialise in this market.
