The Warehouse Administration Supervisor is responsible for leading the day-to-day administrative operations of the warehouse while ensuring the effective flow of information between warehouse operations, inventory, transport providers, customers, suppliers and internal departments. This role combines strong administration, inventory control, freight coordination, financial administration, reporting and leadership skills to ensure operational accuracy, exceptional customer service and continuous improvement across the warehouse. The Warehouse Administration Supervisor plays a key role in supporting warehouse operations through accurate documentation, inventory integrity, effective communication, process improvement and the supervision of the warehouse administration team.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operations of the warehouse administration function
- Manage and prioritise the workload of the warehouse administration team
- Ensure all warehouse documentation is completed accurately and within required timeframes
- Process inbound and outbound warehouse documentation
- Maintain accurate warehouse records and filing systems
- Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently
- Monitor daily operational workflows and administration processes
- Ensure all warehouse transactions are accurately processed within the ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative efficiencies through automation and process improvement
About you
- Previous experience in warehouse administration or logistics administration
- Previous experience leading or supervising an administration team
- Strong inventory management experience
- Purchase order and invoice processing experience
- Experience using ERP systems, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
