The University of Melbourne’s School of BioSciences invites applications for a Full Time, fixed-term Research Officer position within translational molecular microbiology. You will perform nucleic acid extraction, PCR/qPCR, sequencing preparation, and culture to develop diagnostic assays for infectious diseases.

You will collaborate with academic, clinical and industry partners, maintain rigorous records and comply with biosafety and QA standards, while contributing to publications and ethics
