Role Description This is a full-time, on-site A Grade Electrician role based in Australia. The A Grade Electrician will perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment across manufacturing and site operations, including production machinery, plant infrastructure, and associated control systems. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing electrical faults, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing routine inspections, and ensuring work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant Australian standards and regulations.

The role also involves working closely with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to minimize downtime, support continuous improvement,



and assist with electrical upgrades and projects. The A Grade Electrician will maintain accurate records of work performed and contribute to a proactive approach to workplace safety and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of electricity principles and safe work practices around electrical systems.
- Demonstrated experience in electrical work, including installation, commissioning, and testing of industrial or commercial equipment.
- Proficiency in maintenance and repair of electrical systems, including preventive maintenance and corrective actions.
- Effective troubleshooting skills for identifying, diagnosing, and resolving electrical faults and breakdowns.
- Understanding of basic electrical engineering concepts relevant to industrial power and control systems.
- Valid A Grade Electrician license (or equivalent Australian electrical qualification) and familiarity with Australian electrical standards.
- Experience in manufacturing or heavy industry environments is highly regarded.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics, and use relevant tools and test equipment safely.
- Solid commitment to workplace health and safety, with the ability to follow and promote safety procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
