The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Accounts & Administration Assistant to support the day to day financial and administrative requirements of our construction and operations business.
This is a varied and dynamic role that offers exposure across multiple areas of the business - supporting Finance, Operations, QHSE, Project Delivery and Service Delivery Teams. The role would suit someone with solid administration experience who is comfortable with numbers and systems.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting with purchase orders, timesheet enquiries and credit card claims
- Assisting with month-end information and other routine finance requirements
- Managing fleet administration, including registrations, servicing, repairs and maintenance reminders
- Manage and maintain multiple registers to ensure up to date information is available
- Maintaining employee records, including licences, training, uniforms and certification requirements
- Supporting supplier setup and maintaining accurate supplier information
- Assisting with onboarding, travel, office supplies and other general administration
- General administrative, office and accounts support
What We’re Looking For The successful applicant will be able to work productively in a fast-paced but friendly team environment, be comfortable multitasking whilst maintaining a strong focus on task completion. To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in an administration and accounts support - essential
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite –essential
- A self-starter who can work autonomously, manage competing priorities and take ownership of tasks
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong document management capabilities
- Confidence following up suppliers and internal staff to close out outstanding items
- Confidence to quickly learn new workflows and database skills
- Punctual and reliable with a strong sense of ownership over your role and space
- A current driver's licence and reliable transport –essential (limited public transport in the area)
What’s On Offer
- Full time office-based role; Monday to Thursday 6am - 2.30pm and 6am - 12pm on Fridays
- Exposure to both operational administration and finance
- $70,000 to $75,000 per year plus superannuation
