Kepal Building Services is a Bendigo-based Building & Maintenance Services Company delivering services across Victoria. We work across social housing, emergency repairs, insurance and remediation, local government property works, and NDIS/disability upgrades.

Responsive Maintenance Coordinator

We are looking for a Responsive Maintenance Coordinator to join our growing team in our Bendigo office.

Working as part of our Responsive Maintenance team, you will coordinate a high volume of responsive maintenance and vacant property works from start to finish.

You’ll coordinate trades, communicate with clients and tenants, monitor job progress and costs, and ensure works are completed accurately and within required timeframes.

Building industry experience and knowledge of Schedule of Rates is essential.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating responsive maintenance and vacant property works from commencement to completion
- Scheduling trades and monitoring job progress
- Communicating with clients, tenants, trades and suppliers
- Providing regular job updates and managing client portals
- Quoting smaller works and monitoring job costs and expenses
- Managing client, trade and supplier invoicing
- Preparing weekly estimates of anticipated works and monthly invoicing
- Reviewing job and financial information for accuracy and discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate records, reports and job information
- Following up outstanding works, information, invoices and documentation




- Providing professional and friendly customer service

About You

We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive, logical and confident working in a fast-paced environment.

You will need to be comfortable managing a high volume of jobs, working with numbers and financial information, and reviewing current jobs to determine expected works, costs and upcoming invoicing.

Strong communication skills are essential, as you’ll work closely with clients, tenants, trades, suppliers and internal team members every day.

To be successful, you will have:

- Solid organisation, time management and attention to detail
- Experience managing a high volume of jobs and priorities
- A logical and practical approach to problem-solving
- Confidence working with numbers and financial information
- Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly and professional phone manner
- Initiative and a positive, can-do attitude
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability, accountability and a strong work ethic
- A current Australian Driver Licence
