As a key member of the Patient Services & Access team, you will play an key role in supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey, from referral through to appointment attendance. You will provide high-quality administrative support while ensuring patients, carers and referrers receive timely, accurate and professional assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage referral processing and patient waitlisting in line with Department of Health requirements.
- Schedule appointments in accordance with Specialist Clinics Access Policy guidelines.
- Respond to enquiries from patients, carers, referrers and healthcare professionals.
- Provide frontline reception and administrative support across outpatient clinic areas.
- Maintain accurate patient records and data entry standards.
- Assist patients attending the hospital and provide clear, timely information.
- Escalate patient concerns and operational issues as required.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and service excellence.
- Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams to support effective service delivery.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
