WhatYou’llBe Doing

As Store Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the Dulux Trade Centre stores in Newstead QLD, leading and inspiring your team by example. With a proactive mindset and positive leadership style, you’ll work hands‑on with a close‑knit, passionate team to drive sales, promote our market‑leading paint and product range, and deliver strong sales results.

About the role

As the Store Manager , you're the driving force behind maximising sales, ensuring seamless operations, and fostering a positive, engaging atmosphere for your team.To thrive here, you should ideally have:

- Leadership experience, ideally in a retail or customer service environment.
- Leading by example and delivering top-tier customer service.
- The ability to motivate and inspire small team.
- Confidence in managing a diverse range of personalities.
- Skills in training, driving floor sales, and achieving results.
- Experience in visual merchandising, stock control, health and safety, store security, and basic financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee store operations, compliance, and performance standards
- Support your team to reach performance goals through genuine customer care,



not pushy sales tactics.
- Manage rosters, budgets, and labour efficiency
- Provide hands‑on support in‑store, assisting with sales, service, and patient care
- Partner with Optometrists to ensure every customer receives an exceptional experience

Earnings

A base salary up to $70,000 plus superannuation.

As the Store Manager , you'll lead and inspire your team to deliver remarkable results and oversee day‑to‑day store operations.

Earnings:





A base salary up to $65,000 plus superannuation.

Commission earnings at approximately $7,138

About the role (Sales driven retail store manager lead fragrance kiosks)

Based in Underwood , you will join forces with the Operations Manager and wider team in surrounding centres to enhance centre performance.

You will be responsible for driving financial and operational excellence, empowering the team on the ground, and ensuring the centre is consistently in presentable shape for our customers, all in line with National Storage’s company values and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leading, supporting, and motivating a team of Storage Consultants to consistently meet or exceed performance targets.
- Managing a team, including time management, delegation, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Ensuring excellent customer service is consistently delivered.
- Overseeing operational excellence and actively managing centre operations, including centre presentation, maintenance, general administration duties, security, access control, inventory management, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Weekly & monthly reporting summarising the centre's financial performance directly to the Operations Manager.
- Promoting a positive and inclusive team culture that aligns with the company's values and fosters teamwork, care, and excellence.

About You:

- FULL Driver’s license and car (required).
- Demonstrated experience within a management or team leadership position in a similar workplace.
- Strong conflict resolution knowledge and the ability to de‑escalate situations.
- Proven ability in working towards sales targets and KPIs.
- Proficient at using technology and multitasking between different systems.
- Effective communication skills and be able to foster a team building environment.
- You have a motivated, proactive, and positive outlook with the willingness to learn and grow with the business.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- The ability to work on a rotating roster, with every second Saturday from 9am-2pm.
