Are you a confident Registered Nurse ready to step into a leadership role on night duty? Do you want a fixed, predictable roster where most shifts fall on weekends and attract night and weekend penalty rates? About the Role

We're seeking an experienced, clinically confident Registered Nurse to be the In Charge RN on night duty in our Aged Care facility. You'll be the senior clinical decision-maker overnight. You'll lead and support the care team to deliver safe, dignified and person-centred care while residents rest.

This is a permanent part-time position on a set fortnightly roster. It suits nurses who want robust earning potential, work–life balance and weekdays free.

Your Set Roster (7 night shifts per fortnight)

Week 1: Fri, Sat, Sun – 2300 to 0730

Week 2: Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun – 2300 to 0730

What We're Looking For

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

- Minimum 2 years' aged care experience (preferred), ideally including in-charge or shift leadership

- Confident clinical assessment and decision-making skills, including acute deterioration and escalation

- Strong leadership, delegation and communication skills

- Sound knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards, medication management and clinical governance
- A calm, reliable and compassionate approach to caring for older Australians

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate the night shift team.

- Conduct clinical assessments, and respond to and escalate changes in resident condition.

- Administer medications and treatments in line with policy and best practice.

- Plan, implement and evaluate individualised care plans.

- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and incident reporting.

- Support, supervise and mentor Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Workers.

- Ensure ongoing compliance with aged care standards and WHS requirements.

- Valid National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
