Description

This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to thoughtful and innovative content and design initiatives by partnering with, commissioning, and curating exceptional art, illustration, animation, and other visual design work. This role is crucial for bringing external creative visions to life, ensuring our projects are visually compelling and executed to the highest standards.

Creative

- Manage the end-to-end commissioning process from concept to final delivery, including artist research, outreach, negotiation and selection.
- Actively stay engaged with the global art, and design industries to discover emerging talent and build relationships with agencies. Negotiation & Contracts:
- Negotiate scope, usage rights, terms, and costs with artists and their agents to ensure fair agreements and budget.
- Understand and execute Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), contracts, and become deeply familiar with the legal terms and usage associated with commissioned artwork.

Project

Management

- Maintain an accurate and detailed project status tracker for all live art buying projects (potentially 15+ time).
- Maintain and update internal artist databases and resources, making it easy for the team to access information and templates.

- Identify recurring inefficiencies in current processes and proactively suggest improvements to streamline workflows. Communication & Collaboration:
- Serve as a clear, calm, and steady communicator, effectively bridging the gap between internal teams and external creative talent.
- Translate creative briefs into clear, digestible objectives for internal and external partners.
- Work collaboratively across different time zones and with a diverse group of team members, fostering a positive and productive environment.
- Actively support and guide internal art directors to creatively problem solve for their needs, anticipating potential problems before they arise.
