About SKDA
SKDA is a global leader in high-end visual enhancement products for motorcycles—specialising in custom motocross graphics, seat covers, and design. Operating across Australia, the USA, and Sweden, our mission is to bring industry-leading creativity, craftsmanship, and aesthetic excellence to riders worldwide.
We run a fast-paced, high-performing workspace built on camaraderie, continuous improvement, and problem-solving. We believe in winning as a team—where every role is valued, ideas are welcomed, and everyone pitches in to deliver excellence.
About the Role
We are looking for an organized, accurate, and self-motivated Assistant Accountant to join our team on a flexible part-time basis (20–25 hours per week).
As the direct operational 2IC to our Finance Operations Manager, you will manage core transactional accounting across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, weekly payroll inputs, and basic month-end reconciliations. You will also serve as a key operational back-up, ensuring critical financial runs (AP payment runs, invoicing, and payroll) continue seamlessly during peak trade periods and leave coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable (AP): Process domestic & international invoices (matching against POs and dockets), prepare weekly payment runs, reconcile key supplier statements, and resolve discrepancies.
- Accounts Receivable (AR) & Royalties: Assist in raising/managing customer and wholesale invoices, allocate bank receipts, follow up debtors,
and assist with monthly royalty data collation.
- Payroll & Reconciliations: Collate weekly timesheets/leave requests, process employee expense reimbursements, complete daily bank reconciliations in Xero, and investigate variances.
- Month-End Support: Complete month-end checklist items (prepayments, accruals, workpapers) and assist with monthly inventory stock-take reconciliations.
What We Are Looking For
- Practical experience in end-to-end AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and payroll preparation.
- Hands-on proficiency with Xero and Microsoft Excel.
- High attention to detail and a track record of accuracy in transactional processing.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset—you naturally look for ways to streamline processes and reduce double-handling.
- A true team-player attitude: adaptable, dependable, and ready to step up during peak business periods.
What We Offer
- Work-Life Balance: Genuine flexibility around your 20–25 working hours per week.
- Professional Growth: Direct exposure and mentorship working alongside our Finance Operations Manager and Head of Finance.
- Great Culture: A positive, driven team environment where individual initiative and team wins are celebrated.
