About the role A fantastic opportunity is available for an Assistant Accountant to join the team at Wayne Phillis Automotive. Working closely with the Financial Controller, this role includes managing cash flow and payouts with our financiers, reconciliations of various accounts, claims with the manufacturers and assistance with month end journals and reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Assistance to the Financial Controller
- Cash Flow Management
- Vehicle payouts and purchases
- Vehicle debtor reports
- Fleet, Holdback and warranty claim account reconciliations
- Various other account reconciliations
- Processing deals
- Assistance with month end and year end processes and reporting
- Back up to various admin/ stock controller tasks as required
About you
- Experience reconciling accounts
- Intermediate level using excel
- An impeccable attention to detail
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work as part of a team in a quick-paced environment
