Warners Bay Private Hospital is now hiring! Warners Bay Private Hospital offers residents of Newcastle and beyond a comprehensive range of specialist medical, surgical, rehabilitation and mental health services.

We’re a well-established hospital with a robust community feel, and with a new ward now open, it’s an exciting time to join our team with great opportunities for growth across our rehabilitation and medical services.

We are seeking compassionate and motivated Assistants in Nursing to become integral members of our Rehabilitation Ward on a casual basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering patient-centred care in a quick-paced acute hospital environment. The successful candidates will be caring, reliable and passionate about patient care.

Key Responsibilities

- Support nursing staff with routine clinical tasks and patient observations
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive ward environment
- Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and families
- Assist with patient transfers and mobility
- Accurately document care and communicate changes in patient condition

About You

- Certificate III in Health Services Assistance or be currently enrolled as a 2nd or 3rd year Registered Nursing student
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide compassionate care to patients with complex medical needs
- Commitment to maintaining patient dignity and confidentiality
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster

Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $28.92 - $31.74 superannuation based on experience level and qualifications,



exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW Assistant in Nursing/Midwifery gr1-gr4)
