TIFA Support Services is seeking a kind, understanding and reliable Disability Support Worker to support a 30-year-old male participant with autism.

The role focuses on social and community participation, helping him explore his interests, enjoy activities and build meaningful connections. He would prefer someone around his own age who can relate to his interests and build a comfortable, genuine rapport.

Your responsibilities

Support him to take part in community activities of his choosing.

Encourage social connections and opportunities to explore his interests.

Plan outings together, respecting his preferences and pace.

Provide patient, consistent support that responds to his communication needs.

Encourage independence while respecting his choices.





Maintain explicit and accurate shift notes.
