Premier Scaffolds Brisbane is seeking a Junior Estimator to join our growing team full-time in-office at Virginia, North Brisbane.

No construction or scaffolding experience required, we have all the tools to help you learn and grow.

About the role

As a Junior Estimator, you will work closely with our estimating and operations teams to prepare quotes and estimates for scaffolding projects across South East Queensland.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting with preparing scaffold estimates and quotations
- Reviewing plans, drawings and project requirements
- Calculating scaffold quantities and requirements
- Communicating with clients, suppliers and internal teams
- Entering and maintaining project information in our systems
- Following up quotes and assisting with general estimating duties
- Learning the scaffolding industry and estimating processes through hands-on training

- Has a can-do attitude and is willing to learn
- Has good computer skills and is comfortable learning current software
- Is highly organised and has valuable attention to detail
- Can work autonomously and take initiative
- Can work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Has good communication and interpersonal skills
- Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
- Is keen to develop a long-term career within the scaffolding/construction industry
- No previous scaffolding or estimating experience is required
