The role





This is the most senior clinical role in the business, reporting directly to the founders. It suits a clinician who is also a leader and a builder, and who enjoys the pace of a startup.

You will build on the current clinical direction and standards. You will continually optimise the frameworks that let the practice grow safely and consistently, and lead our clinical team across the organisation. You will also keep your own clinical practice, with up to 20 hours of patient consulting per week, where required.

The role is designed to grow into Chief Medical Officer, with a seat on the executive team and further equity as the business scales.

What you'll own

- Clinical governance and compliance. Own clinical governance, prescribing standards, clinical risk and quality. Make sure everything we do stays within governing regulatory frameworks and reflects current best practice.

- Models of care. Refine the frameworks, pathways and protocols behind our prescribed programmes, from first assessment through to ongoing review.

- Multidisciplinary care. Help build working relationships and referral pathways with allied health providers, including so patients receive coordinated, whole-of-person care.

- Leadership. Lead, develop and performance-manage our doctors and clinicians. Set explicit expectations and hold a high standard.

- Cross-department leadership. Work closely with operations, technology, patient experience and growth teams. Here, good clinical decisions and good business decisions go together.

- Staying ahead of the evidence. Track developments in preventive, metabolic and regenerative medicine. Decide what belongs in our care model, with evidence and patient safety as the filter.

- Growth and scale. Shape new services, partnerships and the clinical side of our expansion.





- Innovation and brand. Act as a credible clinical voice for the practice where appropriate, and help develop new services and the patient experience.

- Continuous improvement. Build a culture of clinical review, education and development across the team.

- Patient care. Up to 20 hours per week of consulting.

What you'll bring

- Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner, with Fellowship (FRACGP, FACRRM or equivalent specialist qualification)

- A proven record in a senior clinical leadership role at a reputable healthcare organisation

- Experience building clinical governance frameworks, models of care and teams, ideally in a startup or fast-growing organisation

- A strong grounding in preventive medicine, metabolic health, chronic disease risk reduction, or musculoskeletal and regenerative care

- Experience with multidisciplinary care and working alongside allied health providers

- Detailed knowledge of Australian regulatory and professional frameworks, and the judgement to innovate within them

- Sound commercial judgement, and the ability to lead teams across different departments

- The resilience and composure to perform in a fast-moving, high-growth environment

- Telehealth experience is highly regarded
