Our EnergyCo NSW Project Delivery team is currently seeking to appoint an Assistant Project Officer to undertake a range of project control (risk, cost and schedule) support, analysis, reporting, implementation and administrative activities. They will work within the PMO team on key pieces of work arising from the NSW Electricity Strategy, and the Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap, such as Renewable Energy Zones.
The PMO team is focussed on successful delivery of EnergyCo’s objectives by providing assurance, governance and reporting to projects and key stakeholders. EnergyCo is an exciting organisation and on the forefront in planning and delivering renewable energy for a better sustainable future. The PMO is a small but outstanding team to support, get exposure to project management and build your project management skills to support your future career aspirations.
About You To be successful in this role, candidates will have experience providing project and administrative support, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail. They will be able to manage competing priorities, conduct research and analysis, communicate effectively with stakeholders,
and contribute to the delivery of project outcomes within agreed timeframes.

The Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) is a statutory corporation established under the Energy and Utilities Administration Act 1987 and governed by its Board, appointed by the Minister for Energy. EnergyCo is a Staff Agency employing all EnergyCo staff and is an agency related to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW).
EnergyCo plays a pivotal role in the NSW Government’s Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap, which aims to transform the state’s electricity system into one that is cheap, clean, and reliable.
As Infrastructure
Planner under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020, EnergyCo is responsible for leading the delivery of the State’s first five Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and the first two priority transmission infrastructure projects (PTIPs), which are located in the Central-West Orana, New England, South West, Hunter-Central Coast, and Illawarra regions. We work closely with communities, investors, and industry to investigate, plan, recommend and coordinate generation, storage and network infrastructure projects.
