Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Boilermaker role based in Riverhills, QLD. The Boilermaker will fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures, components, and equipment using a variety of welding and cutting techniques. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, performing welding operations, and checking completed work for accuracy and quality.

The role involves working safely with tools, machinery, and lifting equipment, following company procedures and industry standards.



The Boilermaker will collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to meet project deadlines, maintain a clean work area, and support continuous improvement in fabrication processes.

Qualifications

- Strong metal fabrication skills, including measuring, cutting, forming, and assembling metal components.
- Demonstrated competence in Welding and TIG Welding for structural and precision work.
- Experience using Oxy-acetylene equipment for cutting, heating, and basic welding tasks.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and Blueprint Reading for accurate fabrication.
- Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship completion in Boilermaking or Metal Fabrication.
- Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety practices in workshop and site environments.
- Ability to use hand and power tools, welding machines, and measuring instruments safely and effectively.
- Reliable, able to work independently and as part of a team, with robust attention to detail and quality.
- Prior experience in industrial, manufacturing, or construction settings is highly regarded.
