An immediate opportunity has become available for an experienced Boilermaker to join a major power station shutdown based in Lithgow, NSW. This is a well-paid, fast-paced role suited to tradespeople with a strong shutdown/outage background looking for consistent hours through to the end of the year.
What's on offer:

Responsibilities:
- Fabrication, installation, and repair of boiler components, pressure parts, and associated plant equipment
- Cutting, welding, and fitting steel plate, pipework, and structural components to engineering specifications
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and work instructions
- Carrying out inspections, fault-finding, and repairs on boiler and associated equipment
- Working safely within a high-pressure shutdown workplace, meeting strict deadlines
- Liaising with supervisors, leading hands, and other trades to ensure work is completed to schedule
- Maintaining accurate documentation, including JSAs, permits, and quality records
- Adhering to all site safety procedures and PPE requirements
Requirements:
- Trade qualification as a Boilermaker (Cert III Engineering – Fabrication)
- Previous experience on power station or industrial shutdowns highly regarded
- Current construction induction (White Card)
- Must be able to make your own way to Lithgow (own vehicle required)
- Must be able to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
