Boilermaker – Sarina / Jilalan

About Our Client

Our client is a leading Australian rail and resources organisation with a solid focus on safety, operational excellence, and the ongoing development of its people. With operations supporting critical supply chains across Queensland, they offer the opportunity to work within a well-established organisation and a supportive team environment.

We are currently seeking experienced Boilermakers to join the team in the Sarina / Jilalan area on an ongoing basis.

What You Will Be Doing:

Performing fabrication, welding, repairs, and maintenance on heavy equipment and infrastructure.

Carrying out planned and breakdown maintenance in accordance with site requirements.

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.

Completing welding and fabrication work to a high standard and within required timeframes.

Conducting inspections and identifying defects, damage, or maintenance requirements.

Working safely and efficiently as part of a maintenance team.

Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with site safety procedures and relevant standards.

Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

What You Will Need:

Trade qualification as a Boilermaker / Metal Fabricator.

Previous experience in heavy industry, mining, rail, or a similar environment.

Strong welding and fabrication skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.





Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Relevant tickets and licences will be highly regarded.

Ability to successfully complete required site medical and onboarding requirements.

Sarina / Jilalan location. Home EVERY night.

Ongoing role with the opportunity to transition from temporary to permanent employment after 3–6 months, subject to performance .
