About the role The Bookkeeper provides critical day to day financial support to maintain outstanding financial health. Primary responsibilities are payroll, accounts payable and receivable, managing financial records, processing BAS and month end and ensuring compliance.

Key responsibilities

- Coordinating the payroll process including; onboarding new employees, reviewing fortnightly timesheets, uploading fortnightly pays for approval to monitoring regular pay increases to ensure timely and accurate payment of employees

- Sending and reconciling invoices to maintain up-to-date accounts receivable

- Performing weekly Xero reconciliations to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded

- Managing debt by tracking outstanding balances and following up on overdue payments





- Collaborating with the accountant to prepare financial reports and ensure compliance with accounting standards

- Updating and maintaining spreadsheets to track financial data and generate reports

- Adhering to all organisational policies and processes

- Performing other responsibilities as directed by the Director in line with the role

About you

- You are a forward thinking and able to automate processes where possible to achieve maximum efficiency

- Cert IV in Bookkeeping (minimum)

- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role particularly within an NDIS and/or Aged Care environment

- Proficiency in Xero accounting software

- Splose and Employment Hero experience is desirable

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent organisational and time management skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup

- National Police Check (authorised within the last three years)

- NDIS Worker Screening Card

- Working with Children Check
