We're looking for an experienced and passionate Branch Manager to lead our Newcastle branch and drive a culture of service excellence, team development, and community engagement.

About the Role As Branch Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operations of the Newcastle branch, ensuring exceptional member service, strong sales performance, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance.

You will inspire, coach, and develop your team to deliver outstanding member experiences while achieving business objectives. Working closely with the Regional Manager, you'll contribute to branch growth through leadership, community involvement, and a strong focus on member needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the daily operations of the Newcastle branch
- Drive a high-performance, member-first culture across the team
- Coach, mentor and develop team members to achieve individual and branch goals
- Support consumer lending activities and ensure quality member outcomes
- Monitor branch performance, compliance, risk and operational controls
- Champion service excellence and resolve member concerns effectively
- Build strong relationships within the local community and identify business development opportunities
- Ensure all branch activities align with TMBL policies, procedures and regulatory requirements





About You You are a people-focused leader with a proven background in retail banking and branch leadership. You are passionate about helping teams succeed, delivering exceptional service, and building strong community relationships.

You bring a hands-on leadership style, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to create a positive and engaging setting for both members and employees.

Skills & Experience

- Demonstrated experience in retail banking leadership
- Previous Branch Manager or senior banking leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of consumer lending and banking products
- Proven ability to coach, motivate and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong understanding of risk management, compliance and operational controls
- Effective organisational and time management skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- FSR Tier 2 Accreditation (or the ability to obtain)
