We are looking for a friendly, energetic and reliable Front of House Team Member & Barista to join our café team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality, connecting with customers and working as part of a busy team. You’ll be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing quality coffee and beverages, taking orders, serving food and keeping the café running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers with a warm and friendly attitude
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea and other beverages
- Operate the coffee machine, grinder and other café equipment
- Maintain consistent coffee quality throughout service
- Prepare and serve food and assist with basic food preparation as required
- Process EFTPOS, cash and other customer payments
- Explicit and reset tables and maintain a clean, tidy dining area
- Keep the coffee station, service areas and equipment clean and organised
- Restock supplies and assist with daily café opening and closing duties
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards
- Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining a positive attitude
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front of house team members
- Contribute to creating a welcoming and enjoyable café experience for every customer

- Available to work a flexible roster, including weekends and public holidays where required
Experience & Skills
- Previous café, hospitality or barista experience is preferred
- Barista skills and knowledge of coffee preparation are highly regarded
- Experience with POS/EFTPOS systems is advantageous
- Food handling knowledge is advantageous
- Training can be provided for the right person
