We are seeking an experienced and passionate Carpentry Trainer and Assessor to join our growing team in Darwin and help develop the next generation of skilled tradespeople.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver and assess CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry and related units.
- Facilitate engaging classroom, workshop, and practical training sessions.
- Conduct assessments in accordance with training package and RTO requirements.
- Provide timely feedback and support to students.
- Maintain accurate training, attendance, and assessment records.
- Ensure compliance with ASQA Standards, training package requirements, and RTO policies.
- Participate in validation, moderation, and continuous improvement activities.




- Promote safe work practices and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Liaise with employers, apprentices, and industry stakeholders when required.

Essential Requirements
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122, TAE40116, or equivalent).
- Relevant Carpentry qualification (Certificate III in Carpentry or higher).
- Current industry experience and vocational currency in Carpentry.
- Strong knowledge of Australian building and construction practices.
- Excellent communication and student engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable
- Previous experience delivering training within an RTO workplace.
- Experience working with apprentices and diverse student cohorts.
- Sound understanding of ASQA compliance requirements.
- Current White Card and relevant industry licences.

Pay: $45.00 – $60.00 per hour
