About the Role
Due to extensive growth in our Electrotechnology department, TAFE Gippsland is seeking a qualified and experienced A Grade Electrician to join our teaching team at the Morwell Campus. This casual opportunity will see you deliver and assess Certificate II and III Electrotechnology programs to apprentices and secondary school students, helping them develop the practical skills and knowledge needed for successful careers in the trade.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver engaging, practical training and assessment
- Support students to achieve positive learning outcomes
- Share your industry knowledge and real-world experience
- Develop and maintain learning and assessment resources
- Complete student administration, assessment and compliance requirements
- Contribute to a secure, inclusive and supportive learning environment

You are a qualified electrical professional who is passionate about your trade and enjoys helping others learn. With current industry knowledge and strong practical experience, you are committed to developing the next generation of electricians.

Mandatory Requirements
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40122 (or equivalent)
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology (or equivalent)
- Current A Grade Electrical Licence
- Current Victorian Working with Children Clearance
- Current Police Check (no older than 12 months)
- Current Driver's Licence
Please note that the Teaching Duty Hourly Rate is inclusive of 30 minutes of preparation, planning, curriculum development and assessment that directly relates to the teaching duty hour worked. This means that where you are engaged for Teaching Delivery, 30 minutes of preparation, planning, curriculum development and assessment work is included in the hourly rate of pay.
