Lead the team behind outback barbecues and sunset dinners under the Red Centre sky. You'll run catering for AAT Kings at Yulara, with housing provided and the kind of view most people only see on a postcard.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll supervise food and beverage across everything from casual outback barbecues to private plated dinners. You'll lead a small, close-knit catering team and work side by side with our Guides and Operations crews to keep every event on time and every guest well looked after.
This is a hands-on role in a remote location. Early starts, late finishes and weekend work are part of the rhythm. If you thrive on that, you'll love it here.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead, train and coach the catering team
- Oversee food and beverage preparation, presentation and service for events of all sizes
- Manage stock control and costs
- Ensure compliance with food safety and RSA standards
- Coordinate with Guides and Operations so events run to schedule
- Keep the catering environment safe,
clean and organised
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Leadership experience in food and beverage, catering or hospitality
- Working knowledge of food safety, hygiene and liquor licensing
- Robust communication skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities
- Availability for varied hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
- A calm, positive, hands-on approach
Desirable, not essential
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Hospitality Management
- Food Safety and Hygiene certification
- RSA certification
- HR or MR licence
