About the role
As Change and Communications Specialist, you will play a key role in the Digital Transformation team and help drive the successful delivery of the OneCouncil Project. You will create communication strategies, practical training programs and people-focused change initiatives that make new processes and systems easier to understand and adopt.
Working with the Senior Project Manager, you will connect with teams across the organisation, turn complex change into transparent messages and give people the tools and confidence they need to move forward.
This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
What you'll bring
You are an engaging communicator and practical change professional who knows how to bring people along for the journey. You combine strong stakeholder skills with the ability to design training and communication that is clear, useful and easy to act on.
To be successful in this role you have:
- A degree in Communications, Change Management,
Organisational Development or a related field.
- Experience creating effective communication strategies for large-scale projects.
- Confidence conducting readiness assessments and impact analyses.
- A track record of designing engaging training and easy-to-use documentation.
You will also be comfortable working across teams, balancing competing priorities and keeping community-focused service delivery at the heart of every change.
Offer Details The commencing salary for this position is up to $110.9K. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $128.5K on completion of assessment of skills and performance plus 12% superannuation
- We have a temporary full-time role available
- This role is a compressed 4 day week - Monday to Thursday
- We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role - 2 days from home and 2 days onsite
- This role is located at the Wyong Administration Building
