Tucked away in the heart of Byron Bay, Moonlight is our Japanese-inspired hibachi grill and wine bar. Intimate, energetic and a little bit moody, Moonlight is all about outstanding produce, Japanese flavours, brilliant drinks and warm, knowledgeable service.

Full-time and casual opportunities available Behind Moonlight is a small, passionate kitchen team where everyone plays an important part.

We’re looking for chefs across a range of experience levels - from developing cooks who want to build their skills through to experienced chefs who can confidently own a section and deliver consistently.

You’ll work with quality produce, learn the flavours and techniques behind the Moonlight menu and be part of a kitchen where standards matter.

Moonlight’s bar is a huge part of the experience. We’re looking for hospitality people who love great drinks, know how to create an atmosphere and understand that brilliant bar service is about much more than what goes into the glass.

BAR MANAGER | MAKE IT YOURS

This is an opportunity for an experienced bar professional who wants to take real ownership. You’ll lead the bar during service, support and develop the team, drive standards and help create the drinks experience Moonlight is known for.

We’re looking for someone with robust cocktail and beverage knowledge, natural leadership skills and the ability to balance personality and creativity with organisation, consistency and commercial awareness.





You’ll work closely with the venue leadership team and have the opportunity to continue developing your leadership skills within the wider Arcade Agency group.

BARTENDERS

We want bartenders who bring personality, pace and genuine hospitality. Cocktail knowledge and experience are fantastic, but so are curiosity, reliability and a willingness to learn.

THE SMOKING CAMEL | JOIN THE CREW

Bold Middle Eastern-inspired flavours, cocktails, music and plenty of personality. The Smoking Camel is one of those venues that comes alive when it’s busy — and we’re looking for great hospitality people who thrive right there in the middle of it.

From an experienced Venue Manager ready to lead the whole operation, through to chefs and floor staff looking for their next casual role, we’re building the Camel crew.

VENUE MANAGER | LEAD THE CAMEL

We’re looking for an experienced Venue Manager who can take ownership of The Smoking Camel and lead it with energy, confidence and personality. This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll be responsible for the overall performance of the venue while remaining connected to what’s happening on the floor, behind the bar and within your team.

You’ll lead the day-to-day operation, build and develop a strong team, drive an exceptional guest experience and ensure the venue delivers consistently across service, culture and commercial performance.

YOU’LL TAKE OWNERSHIP OF:

- Leading, coaching and developing the venue team
- Driving service standards and the overall guest experience
- Building a positive, accountable and high-performing culture
- Rostering and wage management
- Venue sales and commercial performance
- Recruitment, onboarding and team development
- Operational standards and compliance
- Working closely with the kitchen and wider Arcade Agency leadership team
- Being present on the floor and leading from the front

We’re looking for someone who understands that great venue management is about people and performance.



You know how to run a great service, but you also understand the numbers behind the venue. You can have the difficult conversations when needed, recognise and develop great people, and create an environment where the team genuinely wants to perform.

Our floor team are the people who bring The Smoking Camel experience to life. We’re looking for confident, energetic hospitality people who genuinely enjoy looking after guests and know how to have fun while still delivering brilliant service.

If you can own a section, read a table, keep your cool through a busy service and bring plenty of personality while doing it, we’d love to meet you.

You’ll be joining a team where great hospitality, personality and working together matter — particularly when the venue is pumping.
