Role Description The Civil Supervisor is a full time, on-site role based in Perth, WA. This position oversees day-to-day civil construction activities, ensuring that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and standards.
Responsibilities include coordinating site crews and subcontractors, monitoring progress against schedules, managing site resources, and reporting on project status to management and clients.
The Civil
Supervisor conducts regular site inspections, implements quality control procedures, and ensures compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and company policies.
The role also involves resolving on-site issues, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders, and promoting a positive, safety-conscious work culture.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills and Site Supervision experience, including leading civil crews and coordinating subcontractors.
- Candidates should possess On Site experience in civil construction environments, with a focus on safe work practices and adherence to project plans.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control skills, including inspecting works, verifying compliance with specifications, and documenting corrective actions.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for liaising with project managers, clients, suppliers, and on-site teams.
- Relevant qualification in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline is highly desirable.
- Experience with infrastructure or asset management projects and familiarity with Australian standards and local regulations is beneficial.
- Proficiency in basic project documentation, reporting, and use of construction-related software or digital tools is an advantage.
- Current driver’s license and the ability to meet site access and safety requirements are required.
