About the role The cleaner’s role is to help keep our school environment clean, safe, and comfortable for students and staff. They’ll work under the direction of the Facilities and Safety Manager and may be scheduled to work in different areas around the College as needed.

About the contract The position is 50 hours per fortnight on a Fixed Contract until 18 December 2026.

About you To be considered for this role you will need:

· Valid working rights within Australia.

· Be committed to the goals, ethos and mission of the College as a Catholic school in the Edmund Rice Tradition.

· Possess a current Queensland Working with Children Blue Card for paid employees before commencement as per the No Card, No Start policy developed by Queensland Government.

· Provide First Aid Certificate and Provide CPR Certificate (desirable).

· Previous experience in a similar position relating to school facilities operations.

· Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner.

· Be flexible with hours of work to suit the College operational requirements.

· Sound administrative and accurate data entry skills including demonstrated experience using the Microsoft Office suite of programs and information management systems.

· Good interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to interact positively with a wide range of stakeholders including, students, staff, and the wider community.

· Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to plan ahead and prioritise in order to meet competing deadlines.

· Ability to work autonomously,



as well as contribute towards a team environment.
