Clinical Research Nurse

Heart of Australia is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Clinical Research Nurse to join our growing Clinical Trials team.

The role

As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality clinical research across various trials in rural, remote and regional Australia. You will be based at our Chelmer clinic four days a week with the flexibility to travel. You’ll coordinate study activities, support participants, maintain accurate documentation and ensure research is conducted safely and in line with regulatory requirements.

Key duties will include but not be limited to:

- Identify, screen and assess trial participants against eligibility criteria

- Deliver direct patient care associated with trial participation





- Coordinate and manage clinical research activities, including participants visits, investigations and follow-up

- Ensure trial conduct adheres to ICH-GCP and applicable regulatory framework

- Prepare study documentation, and participant information and consent forms

About you

You will ideally be experienced in clinical trials, and you will have the following:

- Current AHPRA registration

- Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification or willingness to obtain

- Outstanding attention to detail and organisational skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proactive approach and positive attitude

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a growing team

- Knowledge of clinical research regulations will be advantageous
