Boys to the Bush was founded in 2017 and is a registered not-for-profit community-based charity. About the role
Boys to the Bush has an exciting opportunity for a Community Fundraising Administrator to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis at our Head Office in Lavington, NSW.
Reporting to the Partnerships Manager, the Community Fundraising Administrator connects the Brand & Fundraising team with operational delivery across our 11 sites. You will ensure that community fundraising and engagement activities are strategic, well supported and effectively delivered by local teams, helping to strengthen our Boys to the Bush brand.
The role provides systems and administrative support to operational teams, while also supporting localised partnership development, fundraising activities and community events. Along with the Brand and Fundraising team, you will coordinate and support our fundraising events and internal staff events. The role strengthens local relationships and helps translate community engagement activities into meaningful partnerships, fundraising opportunities and sustainable funding outcomes.
This position will suit a highly organised and proactive person with robust communication skills and a passion for community engagement and fundraising.
About you
- Experience in community engagement, partnerships,
administration or coordination roles
- Excellent communication skills and engagement capability
- Financial acumen, with experience supporting budgets, acquittals or financial reporting
- Intermediate technology skills, including ability to use Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn and use other software systems required by Boys to the Bush
- Tertiary qualification in relevant field (desirable)
- Experience working in the not-for-profit, community or social impact sector (desirable)
- A passion for improving outcomes for disadvantaged/disengaged young people
- Demonstrated capacity to act as a positive role model for young people in your community

Our Requirements
Boys to the Bush requires all employees to have the following
- Full working rights in Australia
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) in the state of employment
- Australian Police Check
