Role Description The Commissioning Technician / Site Manager – Integrated Security Systems is a full-time, on-site role based in Sydney, NSW. This role is responsible for commissioning, configuring, and testing integrated security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems, to ensure they operate according to design and compliance requirements. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating site activities, supervising installation teams, performing system diagnostics and troubleshooting, and providing technical support during and after project completion.

The role also involves liaising with clients and stakeholders, documenting system configurations and test results,



and ensuring that all work meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

The Commissioning

Technician / Site Manager will help optimize system performance, support handover and training for end users, and contribute to continuous improvement of site processes.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with clients, site teams, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support for integrated security systems such as CCTV, access control, and alarms.
- Solid Analytical Skills to interpret technical documentation, diagnose system issues, and ensure optimal performance.
- Experience with commissioning, installation, and maintenance of electronic security systems or related technologies.
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in electronics, security systems, or a related field are highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of Australian security and safety standards, with the ability to work safely on active sites.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize site activities, and maintain accurate project and service documentation.
- Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in Australia; security clearance or licensing as required by local regulations is an advantage.
