We are looking to build a strong team of exceptional Community Support Workers who are available to work full-day shifts between Monday and Friday.
To be considered for this chance, you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Certificate III in Individual Support
- Current National Police Check
- Current Blue Card
- Current Yellow Card / NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Open Queensland Driver's Licence (please note that provisional licence holders and overseas licence holders will not meet our clients' insurance requirements)
- Reliable and roadworthy motor vehicle with comprehensive insurance
We are seeking experienced professionals who can demonstrate a minimum of 12 months' recent experience working within aged care or community care settings.
You will also need to:
- Be available to work between 7:00am and 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
- Be available for at least one standby shift per week. This means being ready to accept work at short notice, as early as 6:00am
- Be willing to travel between clients within your local area
Please note that weekend work is not available.
About You
Our ideal Support Worker is someone who genuinely enjoys supporting older people to remain independent in their own homes and within their communities.
Our shifts include a variety of duties, ranging from:
- Personal care and hygiene assistance
- Domestic support and household tasks
- Meal preparation
- Social support and companionship
- Community access and transport assistance
You must be willing to undertake all aspects of the role with professionalism, compassion, and enthusiasm, consistently delivering the high standard of care our clients expect.
