Contracting Psychologist (Therapy)
Contractor Opportunity | 1-2 days per week | Adelaide SA
We're seeking a Registered or Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team, as a subcontractor for 1–2 days per week. This opportunity would suit a psychologist who is passionate about working with children and young people and has experience in working with neurodivergent children and their families. You'll have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our Speech Pathologists while providing high-quality psychology supports, primarily with a therapy caseload.
You'll enjoy this role if you:

- Enjoy working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Take pride in delivering high-quality, evidence-based therapy and supports
- Appreciate flexibility while still feeling connected to a positive and supportive workplace culture
What you'll bring:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered or Clinical Psychologist
- Experience working with neurodivergent children and young people
- Strong understanding and implementation of culturally safe, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming practice
- Understanding of the NDIS,
and experience working with children and families accessing NDIS supports
- Access to, or ability to obtain, external clinical supervision
- Ability to prepare comprehensive, evidence-based reports in a timely manner.
- Confidence communicating with families, educators and other professionals and contributing to collaborative recommendations.
- Interest and skills in providing individual therapeutic support in areas such as:
- Emotional regulation
- Anxiety management
- Parent coaching
- Executive functioning support
- School refusal
- Self-esteem and confidence building
- Transition support
- General mental health support
Desirable:
- Experience and willingness to develop Positive Behaviour Support Plans and deliver stakeholder training
- Experience in independent competition of diagnostic assessments including Autism (as part of a specialist multidisciplinary team), intellectual and Specific Learning Disorders.
- Experience and independent competition of functional capacity assessments.
- Experience delivering group-based interventions
