About the Team The Curriculum Management and Student Operations (CMSO) team is part of the Learning and Curriculum Unit within the Education Portfolio. The Unit supports teaching, curriculum and assessment. The CMSO teams work across faculties to coordinate curriculum and academic administration services in a consistent and responsive way, partnering with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Job purpose / summary
This role coordinates day to day curriculum and student operations within a faculty. It supports the delivery of consistent, compliant and high-quality service provision to students, faculty and school staff, The role contributes to process improvements and student focused outcomes.
Role responsibilities
- Coordinate course and subject review scheduling and support academic review processes
- Support academic planning, student progression monitoring and resolution of enrolment and timetable matters
- Contribute to analysis of trends and provide advice on issues impacting curriculum and student administration
- Support development and review of procedures, documentation and workflow practices
- Contribute to quality assurance, compliance activities and process improvement initiatives
- Provide advice on policy application and support resolution of complex student matters
- Support collaboration with stakeholders to deliver consistent and responsive services
What We Offer
Base Salary Range:
$111,749.00 - $123,623.00 plus 17% Superannuation (pension).
The position is full time and will be made on a continuing basis.

Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as contributing to team tasks and deadlines, displaying initiative in problem solving, improving business practices and performance.
- Ability to learn and apply knowledge with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Sound knowledge of relevance policies and procedures relevant to Higher Education curriculum and student administration.
- Sound knowledge of teaching systems and technologies used in curriculum and student administration (e.g., CASS, CourseLoop).
- An applied understanding of curriculum governance, student lifecycle operations, and academic administration in a university context
- Demonstrated customer service experience, working in and leading or mentoring a team supporting a range of customers and stakeholders in a complex administrative environment.
- Ability to utilise student management systems and experience in analysis and data reporting
