Data#3 is seeking a delivery‑focused Data & AI Architect to join our Qualified Services team. You’ll lead solution design for modern data platforms and AI-enabled solutions on Microsoft Fabric and Azure, working directly with customers to define architecture, shape approaches, and guide decision‑making. Alongside architecture leadership, you’ll implement key solution components as part of project delivery–ensuring what we design is delivered to a high standard.

This is a hands‑on consulting role is suited to someone who enjoys solving complex problems, shaping modern data approaches, and engaging with customers to deliver practical, secure and well‑governed data solutions. This role suits someone who is equally comfortable building solutions, advising clients, and mentoring delivery engineers.

What You’ll Do:

- Lead solution architecture for Microsoft Fabric and Azure data platforms, covering ingestion, transformation, modelling, governance and analytics approaches
- Implement data pipelines, lakehouse structures, orchestration approaches and platform configuration
- Embed governance, lineage, quality and security‑by‑design principles in delivery
- Shape and deliver AI-enabled solutions using Azure Foundry and Azure AI/Cognitive services
- Implement AI components: model deployments, vector indexes, embeddings, and semantic search.
- Design structured prompting and intelligent automation workflows.
- Produce high‑quality documentation such as HLDs, LLDs, data models, diagrams and decision records
- Facilitate workshops and guide customers through solution options, risks and implications
- Conduct discovery, requirements analysis and technical assessments
- Support pre‑sales with solution input and estimates when needed
- Contribute to uplift of Data#3’s Data & AI capability through delivery excellence

What You’ll Bring:

- 5–8+ years in data engineering, data architecture or analytics solution design
- Strong consulting capability and experience
- End‑to‑end platform delivery (plan → design → implement → transition)




- Excellent communication skills – able to simplify complexity and guide customer decision‑making
- Proven ability to produce high‑quality architecture documentation (HLDs, LLDs, recommendations, decision logs)
- Experience implementing governance, lineage, quality and security‑by‑design
- Hands‑on experience configuring and deploying Fabric and Azure data components
- Confident interacting with stakeholders at all levels and supporting decisions with structured reasoning.
- Certifications such as AZ-305 , AI-102, DP‑600, DP‑700, or DP‑900 (or willingness to obtain).

- Microsoft Fabric: OneLake/Lakehouse, Pipelines, Notebooks, Real‑Time Analytics, Event Streams, Power BI governance
- Azure Data Platform: ADLS Gen2, Azure Data Factory, Synapse (dedicated & serverless), Databricks, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, Azure Monitor, Key Vault
- Architecture approaches: Medallion/Lakehouse, ETL/ELT/ELTL, OLAP vs OLTP, data modelling, SLA/SLO design
- Governance: DMBOK‑aligned frameworks (data quality, stewardship, protection, compliance, metadata)
- Delivery practices: Deployment, automation and environment management approaches
- Azure Foundry & Azure AI services: GPT models, fine‑tuning, embeddings, content filters, vision, search, language and document intelligence
- Applied AI expertise: Deep understanding of Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns and enterprise grounding strategies
