Resolve Recruit is partnering with various leading Commonwealth Government agencies to find experienced Data Engineers.

We are seeking expressions of interest from people who can bring clarity and direction to complex data environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide strategic and technical advice on data engineering and analytics patterns and solutions.
- Assess whether existing data platforms can support current and future business needs.
- Collaborate with the Strategy and Architecture function to inform platform direction.
- Follow the agency's IT Change Management Framework when delivering work.
- Build respectful, collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders, project managers, external suppliers and service providers.
- Work to the direction of the Project Manager to deliver agreed business outcomes.

Key Experience and Skills

- At least 5 years' experience in a designing and deploying data solutions and helping government organisations understand and mature their data landscape, platforms and tools.
- Strong knowledge of data platform engineering and the underlying technology estate (infrastructure, networking, storage, virtualisation, operating systems,



public cloud and software platforms).
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, SAS, R and Python.
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver business outcomes in a large, complex government environments.

Security Requirements

Applicants must hold an active Baseline Security Clearance (or higher) to be considered.
