We are currently conducting confidential searches on behalf of several of Australia’s highly regarded automotive retail groups.

Across five separate leadership mandates, we are seeking proven automotive executives to lead and grow dealership operations across metropolitan and regional markets.

These are not conventional dealership management appointments.

The mandates span destination-style prestige and luxury sites; motorcycle retail; and high-volume mainstream, multi-franchise and multi-site operations — offering the opportunity to take significant commercial responsibility within established and well-resourced automotive businesses.

The Mandates

We are seeking experienced

- Dealer Principals

Leaders capable of taking full accountability for dealership performance, profitability, people,

OEM relationships and strategic direction.

- General Managers

Commercially astute operators who can lead multi-department dealership businesses and translate strategy into sustained operational performance.
- General Sales Managers

High-performing sales leaders with the capability to elevate sales results, develop management teams, strengthen customer experience and drive market performance.

Across the mandates, key areas of accountability include:

- Overall dealership performance and profitability
- New and used vehicle sales
- Sales, Service, Parts and Aftersales operations
- P&L; ownership and commercial performance
- Strategic planning and business growth
- Leadership and succession development
- OEM and manufacturer relationships
- Customer experience and retention
- Governance, compliance and operational standards
- Performance culture, accountability and continuous improvement

Who We Want to Meet





We are interested in speaking with established automotive retail leaders who have built a solid track record of commercial and people leadership.

Your background may include

- Dealer Principal, General Manager, General Sales Manager or equivalent senior leadership experience
- Mainstream volume automotive
- Prestige or luxury automotive
- Motorcycle retail
- Multi-franchise or multi-site dealership operations
- Strong P&L; and commercial management experience
- Proven ability to lead, develop and retain high-performing teams
- Strong OEM and executive stakeholder relationships
- A demonstrated record of improving business performance and profitability
