Devonport dental care is a highly regarded practice of Fifteen years; We are seeking a highly motivated, forward thinking qualified dental assistant to join our team.

A bit about us:

The practice has been established for Fifteen years under Principle dentist and Owner Dr. Sundaram Manickam. Over time our practice has grown to include Four more dental practitioners, with plans to expand our team again in the next Twelve months.

We are a Three chair surgery (expanding to Six) with modern equipment, we pride ourselves on investing in high quality equipment for our staff and patients care.

Dr. Manickam has a strong, honest, loyal following with both his staff and patients. We are looking for a candidate that emulates this manner.

The Practice is open Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm, No weekend work required.

A bit about the dental industry:





Dentistry is a quick-paced industry that requires employees to be able to work under pressure, multi-task & prioritize.

Extending exceptional service & care to our loyal customers is our number one priority.

Dentistry requires employees to meet strict presentation and hygiene requirements and does not allow for Nail art.

The dental and health sector does have a standard for vaccinations to be eligible to work in this sector.

All qualified applicants must provide:

- Certificate 3 in dental assisting

- Proof of up to date immunizations

Key Area's of Work:

- Dental Chair side assisting & charting

- High level of Infection control standards

- Processing of Radiographs

- Change over of dental surgery

- Assistance in Dental Sterilization bay

Added experience:

- Previous experience in Dental Reception would be an added bonus, not essential for the role.

- Previous experience in Major Dentistry ( Endodontics, Implants, Cosmetic Design cases) Preferred, not essential
