About the role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Detailed Cabinet Maker to join our growing team in Revesby, NSW. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work in a energetic workshop environment where precision, creativity and craftsmanship are valued. You will be instrumental in bringing our design concepts to life, working on diverse projects ranging from bespoke residential cabinetry to commercial installations.

This role sits at the heart of our production process and requires someone who is passionate about quality and takes pride in their work.

Key responsibilities

- Fabricate and construct high-quality cabinets and custom furniture pieces according to detailed drawings and specifications

- Prepare and select appropriate materials, including timber, veneers and other components, ensuring quality standards are met

- Operate and maintain woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and effectively, including table saws, routers, planers and sanders

- Perform detailed measurements,



marking and cutting with precision to ensure components fit together accurately

- Assemble cabinet frames, doors, drawers and other components, utilising appropriate joinery techniques

- Sand, finish and polish completed pieces to achieve a professional appearance

- Quality-check work at various stages of production to identify and rectify any defects

- Collaborate with the design team to clarify specifications and resolve any technical challenges during production

- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies at all times

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a cabinet maker or furniture maker, ideally with several years in the trade

- Advanced knowledge of timber types, veneers, finishes and other cabinet-making materials

- Proficiency in using woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and accurately

- Strong understanding of joinery techniques including mortise and tenon, dovetails, dowels and pocket hole joinery

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications with precision

- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work





- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical challenges independently

- Good organisational and time-management abilities to meet production schedules
- A willingness to work as part of a collaborative team whilst also working autonomously

- Valid driver's licence is advantageous for site visits and material collection

- Qualifications or certifications in cabinet making, woodworking or carpentry are preferred

- Experience with CAD software or design software is beneficial but not essential
