As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will bring a cross-disciplinary skill set that spans the cloud, development, operations, continuous delivery, data, and security.

For this role, you’ll need a deep understanding and experience in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CICCD) theory, concepts and real-world application. You need to be experienced with CI/CD tools and systems, and understand their setup, so you can integrate them to create fully functioning, cohesive delivery pipelines and commit, merge, build, test, package, and deploy code.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of Cloud and DevOps Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure

Hands-on experience in (expert level)
- Docker, Kubernetes & Rancher
- API Gateways
- Security Groups
- Jenkins
- Core AWS (CloudFormation, EC2, S3, Fargate, etc.)
- Terraform, Bitbucket, GCP, AWS, Azure, CICD process, Github Actions, Python scripting, Docker and Kubernetes
- CI/CD
- Bash Scripting
- Python
- Good shell scripting experience
- Experience managing messaging applications and configuring them, e.g. IBM MQ, Kafka
- Valuable understanding of networking concepts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads under pressure and meet deadlines
- A self-starter who is hands-on and knows how to find answers and work with ambiguity
