Details: Are you a strategic and collaborative leader with a passion for improving outcomes for people experiencing homelessness? We are seeking an experienced Director, Homelessness Services to support the Senior Director in leading a high-performing team responsible for program development, service design, project management, evaluation, and procurement within the homelessness services sector.
In this influential leadership role, you will help shape and deliver services that respond to the needs of the ACT community. You will lead complex projects and initiatives, provide expert advice on homelessness service delivery, and contribute to policy development, financial analysis, and future investment strategies. You will be responsible for preparing high-level briefings, business cases, ministerial correspondence, reports, and policy papers for senior executives and government stakeholders.
Working in a agile environment, you will manage competing priorities and deliver practical solutions to complex challenges. You will play a key role in driving innovation, improving business systems and processes, implementing performance and risk management frameworks, and ensuring effective service outcomes.
To be successful, you will demonstrate strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management skills. You will have the ability to influence and negotiate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders and build productive partnerships across government and the homelessness services sector. Experience in government processes, procurement, contract management, and specialist homelessness services will be highly regarded.
