About The Role

Lumia Care is seeking an experienced and passionate Disability Manager to lead and oversee high-quality disability support services across Sydney for a short-term contract period of 8-12 weeks.

This is an exciting opportunity for a people-focused leader who is committed to delivering person-centred supports, driving operational excellence, and ensuring positive outcomes for NDIS participants.

As the Disability Manager, you will provide leadership to multidisciplinary teams, support business growth, ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and support disability support teams across multiple service locations.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, participant-centred services aligned with individual goals and care plans.
- Monitor operational performance, workforce planning, and service delivery outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with participants, families, guardians, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards requirements, organisational policies, and industry best practice.
- Manage incident reporting, risk management, and service quality initiatives.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of staff.




- Identify opportunities for service growth and business development.
- Maintain accurate records, reporting, and documentation.

About You
- Demonstrated leadership experience within disability, community, or health services.
- Robust understanding of the NDIS and disability support sector.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, organisational, and decision-making abilities.
- Commitment to person-centred care and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in care management and workforce management systems.

Essential Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Disability, Community Services, Health, Social Work, Nursing, or a related field.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current Working with Children Check (where applicable).
- National Police Check.
- Current Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle.
- Full Australian working rights.
