About the Role:

As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to people living with a disability, helping them maintain independence and stay connected with their community.

We are urgently seeking multiple candidates with varying availability across 7 days for morning, afternoon and evening shifts in the Southern suburbs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Personal care and assistance with daily living activities

- Mobility support and safe manual handling

- Medication prompts and meal preparation

- Experience in supporting Clients living with mental health challenges

- Community access, appointments and social support

- Domestic Assistance & light gardening

- Encouraging independence and emotional wellbeing





- Experience in interpretation of and following individual care plans

- Maintaining a safe and respectful setting

- Completion of required documentation including but not limited to shift noting and incident reporting, in accordance with Organisational guidelines.

About You:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills , both written and verbal.

- Experience with complex care and behaviour support
- A genuine commitment to dignity, respect and person-centred care

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Confidence supporting clients with varying support needs

- Experience in NDIS, disability or aged care support (preferred)

- Minimum 6-12 months experience in NDIS, disability or aged care support required

Essential Requirements:

- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) or equivalent practical experience

- Equivalent practical experience requires a minimum of 1 year paid care work if Certificate III is not held

- NDIS Worker Screening Check

- National Police Check

- Working With Children Check (Employee)

- Current First Aid & CPR

- Manual Handling certificate

- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation – Quality, Safety and You

- Current SA driver's licence and reliable own vehicle (Experience or ability to drive access vehicles)

- Current immunisations as required for care roles

- Valid Australian working rights

- All certifications must be current at the time of application.
