Role 1: Woongarrah (6 x Casual Positions)

About The Client

Our client is a male transitioning from a hospital setting into our established Woongarrah SIL home. He lives with dementia and significant cognitive impairment. When supported by a calm, consistent team and a predictable routine, he can be settled and sociable. He requires attentive supervision, especially around wandering, falls and night-time disorientation.

What You Will Do

- Personal care; showering, dressing, grooming and continence support, delivered with dignity
- Calm verbal redirection and consistent supervision throughout the day and overnight
- Medication assistance under the care plan
- Meal preparation and hydration monitoring
- Active overnight shifts, managing disrupted sleep and settling with patience and confidence
- Accurate shift notes and documentation in line with NDIS Practice Standards

Shifts Day, afternoon and active overnight shifts across a 7-day MTA roster Role 2: Gorokan (Female Workers Only)

About The Client

Our client is a woman in her 50s living in Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA). She is warm, independent and communicates clearly. She loves Lego, is keen to start baking and is looking forward to getting out into the community with her new power wheelchair. She lives with spina bifida, a chronic illness and anxiety. Consistency and trust are everything to her.

What You Will Do

- Bed baths,



assisted showers with commode transfers, continence and bowel care
- Grooming, dressing (partial assistance) and morning and evening routines
- Medication assistance, routine and PRN under the medication chart
- Meal preparation, dishes, laundry and bed making
- Community access in a wheelchair-accessible vehicle.

Shifts

- Monday, Wednesday and Sunday evenings: 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm + sleepover
- Friday mornings: 7:00 am - 12:00 pm

About You For Both Roles, You Will Bring:

- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Ageing or a related field
- Demonstrated experience with dementia, complex physical needs or a related area of complex support
- Confidence with personal care, continence support and medication assistance
- A calm, patient, trauma-informed approach, you know how to de-escalate without confrontation
- Reliable, punctual and committed to consistency for the people you support
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Current Australian Driver's Licence

Gorokan applicants: Experience with wheelchair transfers, continence and bowel care, and supporting someone with anxiety is essential. Manual handling or hoist training is highly regarded. Woongarrah applicants: Experience with dementia or acquired brain injury, and active overnight shift experience, is strongly preferred.
